From a semantic standpoint, it was intriguing to work on giving soul to the anonymous architecture that characterizes buildings intended for large-scale retail. Compositionally, the intervention, which involved the expansion of a small area, actually allowed for a complete redesign of the fa\u00e7ade. Operationally, the challenge was significant: managing the construction site required complex structural solutions to keep the existing store open. The design choices\u2014composition, materials, and colors\u2014led to the creation of a site-specific architecture that establishes semantic connections with the adjacent historic brick kiln. The aesthetics closely resemble residential architecture, creating a smart effect that invites BRICO OK customers, who are increasingly diverse, to feel at home even before entering the store."}
